Free Virtual Pro-Se Divorce Clinic

Land of Lincoln Legal Aid is offering free virtual Pro Se Divorce Clinics for people who plan to represent themselves in an Illinois divorce. These clinics provide general information about the Illinois divorce process and are intended for people who are not currently clients of Land of Lincoln Legal Aid.

During the clinic, participants may learn about the divorce process and common court forms, petitions and fee waivers, summons and responses, financial affidavits, parenting plans and child support, mediation and settlement, court hearings, evidence, and tips for representing themselves in court.

Who should attend? This clinic may be a good fit if you:

  • Are not currently a client of Land of Lincoln Legal Aid
  • Are planning to file for divorce in Illinois
  • Expect to represent yourself in your divorce case
  • Want general information about the Illinois divorce process
