At Land of Lincoln Legal Aid, we protect seniors and individuals with disabilities. We work very hard to represent clients who are facing discrimination and abuse. We work with clients to resolve the following issues:

• Protection of seniors and persons with disabilities from abuse, neglect, fraud, undue influence and financial exploitation.
• Promotion of independence of seniors and persons with disabilities.
• Enforcement of the rights of residents of supportive living centers and long-term care facilities (not all offices).
• Guardianship issues involving disabled adults.
• Simple wills and powers of attorney for persons age 60 and over, or persons referred through a Medical-Legal Partnership, or a County Health Department (not all offices).
• Bankruptcy protection to preserve or recover income and assets, to promote stability, or to relieve stress.
